1.
BOOTH WRAP FILM must be applied to a clean,
dry surface in either a new or recently
repainted booth. To apply the film it is
best to hang it in a vertical direction.
Place the film roll on a piece of carpeting
next to the sidewall floor and pull the
film up to the top of the sidewall. Lightly
pat it into position along the top edge.
Smooth and tap the film against the sidewall
with a soft bristle pushbroom. Cut the film
across the bottom. Continue hanging vertical
sections of film, overlapping the previous
section by an inch or less, until the sidewalls
and light panels are completely covered.
Make sure to press the edges down tight.
Small wrinkles and bubbles in the center
of the film will have no effect on the function
of the product. Do not cover air vents.
After the film has been applied, use the
2 inch wide edge tape to seal all the edges
of the film along the top and bottom and
around doors and door openings. This will
prevent any air from lifting the film away
from the wall.
2. Most booths have light
panels about 2 feet above the floor. This
procedure will cover the light panels. As
the film over the light panels start to
get dirty, cut out the dirty areas and replace
it. This can be done several times before
it is necessary to replace the entire booth
covering.
3. To remove the film,
start at the bottom and pull the film horizontally
away from the wall. The paint dust will
collect on the top surface. Then roll the
film into a ball to capture the dust. This
will reduce the amount of dust particles
that try to fly away. After the new film
has been put into place, blow out the booth
with compressed air and run the booth through
a short cold cycle. For best results, replace
the film after 300 booth cycles or 4 months.

TIP: It is not necessary to shut
down the paint booth to change the entire
booth. Just change a few panels at a time.
It doesn't take long and you won't lose
production time.
