Vehicles damaged by collision or
vandalism are exposed to weather damage through broken
windows and sprung open doors. Crash Wrap Film is a
tough, flexible, self adhesive plastic film that covers
these openings and seals out weather damage. Crash Wrap
Film is the only weather barrier film with Ultraviolet
Inhibitors to prevent damage caused by sunlight. Our
film can be safely left exposed to the weather for up
to one year and still remain flexible. When it is removed,
all the adhesive comes off with the film ... it does
not transfer to the car body.
Crash Wrap Film is quick and easy
for one person to use. The free end adheres quickly
and holds itself in place while you cover the open area.
The light tack adhesive does not stick to itself. It
is tear resistant so use our special cutter (included
with every roll).
1.Carefully clean and
dry the areas you intend to attach the film.
The cleaner, drier and warmer these surfaces
are when the film is first applied ... the
better the film will adhere and the more
often it can be removed and reattached.
2.Peel back the free edge of the film and
unroll a few inches.
3.Press the free edge to the vehicle surface.
NOTE: Do not
use your bare hand to press the film down.
Sharp edges can poke through the plastic
and cut your skin. Always use a towel or
leather gloves. Stretch the film slightly
as you unroll it across the area to be covered.
NOTE: For large
areas make several horizontal passes starting
from across the bottom. With each pass overlap
the previous one by a few inches. Then press
the lapped areas together to make a seal.
This creates a shingling effect that directs
the water to the outside.
4.Finish by pressing the film against the
vehicle surface and trim the plastic with
our cutter. Store Crash Wrap film in its
original shipping carton.
CAUTION: DO
NOT attempt to drive a vehicle with this
product covering glass areas. Although it
is transparent, it will distort and obscure
your vision.
CAUTION: Haldon
Company has tested this product in many
different applications and concludes that
it will perform satisfactorily when used
as specified. Due to the wide variety of
paints, solvents, weather conditions and
customer uses, we recommend that you test
our product under your particular conditions
to determine its fitness for your needs.

OTHER USES
1. Cover bare metal and body filler while the vehicle
is being stored outside before painting. We recommend
sealing around the edges of the film with plastic electrical
tape for a water tight seal.
2. Cover a broken sunroof. First, cover the opening
with a piece of cardboard. Then, cover the cardboard
with our plastic film. The cardboard will support the
film and prevent water from pooling.
3. Cover open areas of freshly painted vehicles before
reassembly. The special, light tack adhesive does not
pull off or discolor freshly cured paint. NOTE:
Paint must be fully heat cured.
4. Cover valuable interior surfaces during repairs.
Dashboard, Radio Systems, Seating, Console, Carpeting
5. Use our film as an aid to remove broken glass. Apply
film to both sides. This will reduce the number of loose
particles you have to work around.
